About the Role
The selected candidate will be part of Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D division, supporting global pharmacovigilance operations. The role involves monitoring drug safety data, processing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to patient safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and evaluate Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
- Perform case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and case processing.
- Conduct duplicate checks and validate safety cases.
- Assess adverse events for seriousness, causality, and expectedness.
- Prepare and update case narratives as per client procedures.
- Perform quality checks and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Support follow-up activities for additional case information.
- Collaborate with medical reviewers regarding potential safety concerns.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned pharmacovigilance activities.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Surveillance.
- Experience in ICSR processing and safety database management.
- Knowledge of MedDRA coding and global regulatory requirements.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on timelines, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
