👩⚕️ Position Overview: Clinical Research Associate (Oncology)
As a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) within AstraZeneca’s Oncology division, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of clinical studies at the site level. From initiation to close-out, you will work closely with investigators and site staff to ensure high-quality, regulatory-compliant data collection and patient recruitment, making a real impact on clinical development.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to ICH-GCP and AZ SOPs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investigators and study sites.
- Collaborate with local study teams and support Risk-Based Quality Management (RbQM).
- Ensure timely data entry, resolution of queries, and drug accountability.
- Participate in audit/inspection preparation and execution.
- Maintain inspection-ready site files (ISF) and ensure eTMF documentation accuracy.
- Contribute to site performance metrics, drive patient recruitment, and escalate issues when needed.
📋 Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Experience in monitoring clinical trials, preferably in oncology.
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel as per monitoring schedule and study requirements.
