Clinical Data Analyst
About the Role
As a Clinical Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in managing and reviewing clinical trial data to meet client quality standards and project deadlines. You’ll work closely with data management teams to execute activities like data review, query generation, and reconciliation, ensuring the smooth progression of clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough clinical data review and manage data queries in line with client and internal quality standards.
- Assist in reviewing clinical trial data based on Data Management Plans and Edit Check Specifications.
- Generate, resolve, and track data queries to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
- Create and utilize ancillary programs (e.g., diagnostic listings, reconciliation listings) for effective data review.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and closure of data management aspects for clinical projects.
- Contribute to edit check specifications and testing through dummy data creation.
- Maintain documentation and support administrative data management tasks, including eTMF updates.
- Generate study status reports and perform additional duties as required.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- A university degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Candidates with certifications in allied health professions from accredited institutions are also welcome.
Experience Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of relevant clinical research or data management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and work on multiple priorities.
- Organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Fortrea’s standard operating procedures and organizational structure.
- Knowledge of SAS report testing and edit check design is advantageous.
