🔍 Job Responsibilities
- Apply AMA, AHA, and CMS medical coding guidelines.
- Review and analyze patient records to assign or modify CPT codes for minor procedures, vaccines, and laboratory services.
- Extract and apply accurate screening CPT and HCPCS codes based on documentation.
- Check for NCCI edits, and follow LCD/NCD determinations to adjust ICD-10-CM codes and modifiers.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain confidentiality and system security.
- Organize and prioritize work to meet compliance and client timelines.
- Work collaboratively with large teams to ensure quality and productivity.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Must hold an active coding certification (CPC, CCS, CIC, or COC) from AAPC or AHIMA.
- Freshers and candidates with 7+ months of experience in medical coding are welcome.
- Strong foundation in medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology.
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and healthcare coding compliance.
- Understanding of data privacy and system security policies.
