Key Responsibilities
Patent drafting, filing, prosecution, and portfolio management.
Conducting prior art searches and patentability assessments.
Managing office actions, hearing notices, and patent oppositions.
Collaborating with patent attorneys, inventors, and research teams.
Monitoring competitor patents and global IP landscapes.
Ensuring compliance with the Indian Patents Act, 1970, and Patent Rules.
Supporting innovation protection strategies for pharmaceutical products and technologies.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Indian Patent Laws and regulations.
Experience in patent drafting and prosecution activities.
Knowledge of patentability analysis and prior art searches.
Ability to handle patent office communications and legal documentation.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
M.Sc. / M.Pharm in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.
B.Pharm, LLB (IPR), or M.Tech (Biotechnology) will be an added advantage.
2–4 years of relevant experience in Intellectual Property Rights, preferably in Pharma or Biotech sectors.
