About the Role

The Director of AIIT will serve as the chief academic and administrative leader of the institute. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving academic excellence, promoting research and innovation, strengthening industry collaborations, and ensuring institutional growth in alignment with the vision and mission of Amity University.

The Director will oversee academic, administrative, research, and quality assurance activities while ensuring compliance with AICTE, UGC, NAAC, and other regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• BCA
• MCA
• Ph.D. in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or allied disciplines

Experience Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience at the Director level in a recognized Higher Education Institution.
• Experience in managing academic operations, faculty development, institutional rankings, research initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong academic and administrative leadership experience.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Ph.D. in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• BCA and MCA with consistently strong academic credentials.
• Proven academic and administrative leadership experience.
• Strong research, publication, and academic governance record.
• Experience in accreditation, quality assurance, institutional development, and industry collaboration.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Director will be responsible for:

• Providing visionary leadership and strategic direction for AIIT.
• Leading academic planning, curriculum enhancement, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Promoting research, innovation, patents, publications, and funded projects.
• Developing industry partnerships, collaborations, and MoUs.
• Ensuring compliance with AICTE, UGC, NAAC, NBA, and other statutory bodies.
• Overseeing faculty recruitment, mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
• Strengthening student learning outcomes, placements, entrepreneurship, and employability initiatives.
• Monitoring institutional performance, rankings, accreditation activities, and continuous improvement.
• Managing budgets, infrastructure development, and academic resources.
• Fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, inclusivity, and innovation across the institute.
